Much
of our work centers on the mineral industry in the Rocky
Mountain West. We have formed long-term strategic alliances
with clients, supplementing their staff as they try to meet
the energy needs of the Nation. In addition to mining
services our focus has recently been on coal bed natural
gas. WWC has been helping clients develop CBNG since the
Powder River Basin’s first commercial production in 1989.
This abundant, clean fuel is produced from coal seams by
pumping to lower the groundwater pressure sufficiently for gas to flow to a collection well. This
water typically has a high ratio of sodium to calcium and
magnesium and without proper safeguards can be detrimental
to soil permeability. Our expertise
and experience has positioned us well to assist CBNG producers in
